We logged real tee time availability every 15 minutes across Colorado's public courses from June 12, 2026 to Aug 19, 2026. Here's what 1,037,776 snapshots say about what a round actually costs and which courses actually sell out.
Key findings
- The cheapest 18-hole round we tracked all summer was SouthRidge Golf Course in Fort Collins at $19.15 on average — less than a third of the priciest.
- Fossil Trace Golf Club in Golden was the hardest course to book among the courses we have clean data for, sitting fully open only 7% of the time, at a $123 average rate.
- Price and demand don't always track together: Meadows Golf Club and Foothills Golf Course both charge premium rates ($83) but never sold out once in over 13,800 snapshots each.
- Boomerang Links, Colorado National, and Highland Hills rarely sold out either (under 5% of the time) despite moderate pricing around $60 — a good bet if you need a same-week tee time.

Easiest courses to book
Sellout rate is the share of all snapshots where a course showed zero open tee times. A handful of these are 9-hole or par-3 layouts that don't carry an 18-hole rate — hence the missing prices. We're holding back a "hardest to book" ranking and a weekend-lead-time table for now — a data-quality check turned up a rate-limiting issue on one of our booking-platform integrations that we don't fully trust yet for those specific stats, and we'd rather publish nothing than publish a number we can't stand behind.
